The headband is a wide one with an elastic band at the back. At first glance, the elastic seems not strong enough, but it was actually extremely comfortable when worn. And it is reversable! Overall, I was very pleased with the headband.

Tried it on long haul flight from Singapore to England. I've never been able to sleep travelling and it sadly didn't help.
